Strava recently changed the terms of their API, and the changes have not been well received. It got me thinking about content ownership and who has control over my data, so I wrote a bit about my thoughts and my desire to own my content distribution!

The risk of a third-party suddenly ripping out their API is what holds me back from some fun projects. Glad to see all hope is not lost on the fitness side! 1
I want to develop the idea further, it just hasn鈥檛 been a priority lately! I recently saw someone鈥檚 project for analyzing Garmin data with Grafana which was pretty cool. Happy to see more open-source fitness solutions out there! 2
